Climate change is having a significant impact on the tourism and recreational potential of the Ukrainian Carpathians, particularly in mountainous regions that rely on winter sports, hiking and ecotourism. Rising temperatures, decreasing snow cover and changing precipitation patterns threaten the viability of ski resorts and winter tourism. This study aims to assess the impact of climate change on tourism development in the Carpathians through remote sensing, GIS modelling and analysis of long-term climate data. The research is based on a comparative analysis of historical climate trends, satellite imagery and mathematical modelling of temperature and precipitation dynamics. Using Google Earth Engine and remote sensing techniques, key indicators such as snow cover area, albedo index and normalised difference snow index (NDSI) were analysed to assess changes in seasonal conditions. The results show a significant decrease in snow depth (approximately 4.4 mm per year) and snow-covered
area (0.21% per year). The data indicate a shift in seasonality, a shortening of the winter season and an increase in climate-related risks to tourism infrastructure. Despite the negative impacts on winter tourism, climate change may increase opportunities for summer and autumn tourism, such as hiking and cycling. To mitigate these challenges, adaptation strategies need to be developed, including snowmaking technologies, diversification of tourism services, and sustainable environmental
management. This study provides critical insights into the long-term dynamics of climate change in the Carpathians and supports strategic planning for sustainable tourism development.

Анімація в туристичній діяльності це важлива форма роботи туристичного підприємства. До анімації належить організація рекламних акцій, різного роду презентацій, а також дозвілля на дитячих та корпоративних заходах, у сфері туризму, зокрема й в готелях чи ресторанах. На Прикарпатті існує велика кількість підприємств, які використовують анімацію, як особливу форму діяльності, що напряму впливає на рівень задоволеності рекреантом вибраного комплексу.
Важлива роль в проведенні анімаційної діяльності належить аніматору, що виступають як артисти. Щороку анімація набирає форму широкої розважальної програми, в якій можуть бути поєднані різноманітні види активної рухової діяльності, такі як: спорт, мистецтво, театр, музика та спеціальні розваги для дітей. Саме тому закладу у якому проводиться анімація важливо правильно підібрати команду анімації, адже від цього буде залежати які відгуки отримає туристичний комплекс. У статті ми проаналізували туристичні комплекси у діяльності яких використовується анімація. Готельна анімація надається закладом розміщення з метою розважити туристів під час відпочинку в готелі, а Рекреаційна анімація відповідає за простий сімейний відпочинок, спрямований з відновленням життєвих сил. Animation in tourism is an important form of work of a tourism
enterprise. Animation includes the organisation of promotions, various kinds of
presentations, as well as leisure activities at children's and corporate events, in the
field of tourism, including in hotels or restaurants. In Prykarpattia, numerous
enterprises use animation as a special form of activity that directly affects the level
of satisfaction of the recreational complex. An important role in animation activities belongs to animators acting as artists. Every year, animation takes the form of a broad entertainment programme, which can combine various types of active movement activities, such as sports, art, theatre, music and special entertainment for children. That is why an institution needs to choose the right animation team because it will determine the feedback the tourist complex receives. In the article, we have analysed tourist complexes that use animation in their activities. Hotel animation is provided by the accommodation facility to entertain tourists during their stay at the hotel, and Recreational animation is responsible for a simple family recreation aimed at restoring vitality.
