The relationship between the spatial structure of the city and “The culture of the city residents”

Abstract

The article reveals the ways of organization and evolution of the spatial structure of the city and the influence of the “culture of the city residents” on these processes. The very “culture of the city residents” is seen as an element of the intangible factor in the development of urban systems. The culture itself, mentality and spirituality are components of this element, which determine the behavior of residents and, accordingly, their needs for the spatial structure in the city they live in.
