У статті розглянуто основні матеріали та техніки, що застосовуються для виконання академічного рисунку та живопису у навчальному процесі студентів-дизайнерів. Зроблено акцент на важливості впровадження нових підходів до вивчення спецрисунку і живопису, що дозволяє студентам експериментувати з техніками, створювати графічні роботи, що можуть бути використані у розробці дизайн-продукції. Відзначено, що сучасні методики, які включають використання різноманітних матеріалів і нестандартних технік, розширюють можливості мистецького вираження та сприяють розвитку творчого мислення.
