30-річчя падіння комунізму на Сході Європи у програмах українських редакцій «Голосу Америки», ВВС, DW, радіо «Ватикан» і «Свобода»

Abstract

У статті досліджено матеріали українських редакцій «Голосу Америки», BBC, DW, радіо «Ватикан» і «Свобода», присвячені 30-річчю падіння комунізму на сході Європи. Змістом про- грам є інтерпретація важливих історичних подій, як-от: перші вибори в Польщі за участю опозиції, проведення круглого столу в Угорщині з підписанням угоди про вільні вибори, падіння Берлінської стіни та Оксамитова революція в Чехії, кривава революція в Румунії. Окремо розглянуто масштабний спецпроєкт української редакції радіо «Свобода» «1989: як падав комунізм на Сході Європи», у межах якого журналісти створили різножанрові матеріали – аналітичні статті, радіоінтерв’ю, відеосюжети, фоторепортажі, радіопрограми з текстовим викладом на сайті, іконографіку, навіть окремі своєрідні «путівники», у яких детально розповідається, що насамперед варто читати, слухати та дивитися про падіння Берлінського муру. Вони свідчать про глибоке проникнення в тему, журналістський професіоналізм, прагнення різними каналами, використовуючи сучасні можливості конвергентного ньюзруму, донести її до якомога ширшої авдиторії. З’ясовано, що українська редакція радіо «Свобода» зуміла продемонструвати, що події, які охопили Європу 1989 року, торкнулися також України, де аналогічні суспільно-політичні процеси відбувалися з певним запізненням, оскільки вона входила до складу СРСР. Показано, що українські редакції «Голосу Америки», BBC, DW, радіо «Ватикан» меншою мірою висвітлювали події, пов’язані з падінням Берлінського муру та закінченням «холодної війни». Водночас усі українські редакції («Голосу Америки», BBC, DW, радіо «Ватикан» і «Свобода») у своїх матеріалах, присвячених 30-літтю падіння комунізму в Східній Європі, ставили за мету насамперед нагадати українцям про цю історичну подію та її вплив на становлення України як держави та відновлення її незалежності. The article investigates the materials of the Ukrainian editiorial offices of the Voice of America, BBC, DW, Vatican Radio and Radio Liberty dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the fall of communism in Eastern Europe. The content of the programs is the interpretation of important historical events, such as the first elections in Poland with the opposition participating, holding a round table in Hungary with the signing of a free election agreement, the fall of the Berlin Wall and the bloody revolution in the Czech Republic, the bloody revolution in Romania. The large-scale special project of the Ukrainian editiorial office of Radio Liberty "1989: How Communism Fell in Eastern Europe" was considered in terms of which journalists created the materials of different genres – analytical articles, radio interviews, videos, photo reports, radio programs with text on the website, iconography, even some kind of "guides", which tell in detail what to read, listen to and watch about the fall of the Berlin Wall. They testify the deep insight into the topic, journalistic professionalism, the desire of various channels to convey it to the widest possible audience with the usage of the modern possibilities of the convergent newsroom. It was found out that the Ukrainian editorial office of Radio Liberty was able to demonstrate that the events that swept Europe in 1989 also affecte Ukraine, where the same socio-political processes took place with some delay since it was part of the Soviet Union. It has been shown that the Ukrainian editorial offices of the Voice of America, BBC, DW, and Vatican Radio covered the events surrounding the fall of the Berlin Wall and the end of the Cold War to a lesser extent. At the same time, all Ukrainian editorial offices (Voice of America, BBC, DW, Vatican Radio and Radio Liberty) in their materials dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the fall of communism in Eastern Europe, aimed primarily to remind Ukrainians of this historic event and its impact on the formation of Ukraine as a state and the restoration of its independence.
